
National Enterprise Account Manager, Reference Labs – National Health Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Drive growth and market advancement within U.S. National Reference Laboratories and National Health Systems.
• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with stakeholders throughout laboratory, health system, and enterprise networks.
• Provide comprehensive diagnostic solutions aimed at customer retention, expansion, and long-term profitability.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of strategic account plans.
• Oversee complex enterprise accounts, including account strategy, opportunity identification, forecasting, contract negotiations, and pricing.
• Collaborate with the U.S. sales organization on financial and strategic business plans for national accounts.
• Offer leadership, coaching, and mentoring to foster team development and enhance performance.
• Formulate customer-focused growth strategies informed by market insights, competitive trends, and long-term goals.
• Spearhead cross-divisional initiatives to enhance account management practices and overall business performance.
• Meet or surpass annual revenue, profitability, and ROI targets.
• Manage executive sponsorship initiatives, strategic partnerships, financial analysis, and customer agreements.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in Reference Laboratory or Enterprise Account Sales within the Diagnostics or Medical Device industry is essential.
• Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets in a complex, solution-selling setting, preferably with major accounts.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven negotiation skills with all levels of customer management, including CEOs, CFOs, procurement leaders, and department managers.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience managing or leading a direct sales team.
• Excellent presentation and demonstration capabilities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A successful history of operating at a senior commercial level.
• Extensive knowledge of general laboratory practices.
• Knowledge of healthcare, technology, or management consulting sectors is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, including overnight trips.
