This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage all field reimbursement initiatives with the designated partner.
• Assemble and lead a group of Regional Access Directors.
• Drive the accomplishment of partner goals that align with the company's vision and core values.
• Recognize market opportunities and potential challenges.
• Create, execute, and monitor action plans.
• Mentor team members to facilitate corporate growth.
• Assess success, enhance opportunities, and relay outcomes to partners and internal stakeholders.
• Organize in-field activities to meet specialty targets.
• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top- and bottom-line outcomes.
• Ensure seamless day-to-day operations and long-term business execution.
• Maintain technical knowledge to address product, policy, and business inquiries.
• Plan and lead action-plan and leadership meetings.
• Guarantee adherence to relevant laws, policies, and processes.
• Provide guidance and insights to internal partners during the business planning phase.
• Coach, mentor, educate, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
• Hold direct reports accountable for their behaviors and expectations.
• Conduct interviews, select candidates, and oversee department staff.
• Manage the daily operations of the field reimbursement leadership team and the broader team.
• Establish job objectives, work methodologies, and performance standards.
• Perform performance evaluations and manage personnel actions.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• A healthcare degree is strongly preferred, including MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD, or a comparable advanced healthcare/scientific degree.
• Over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on payer policy and product access.
• At least 8 years of experience in benefit verifications and/or prior-authorization requirements, or equivalent experience in patient access.
• A minimum of 5 years leading successful field access teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy and medical benefit product models.
• Familiarity with Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes, including Medicare Parts B & D coverage.
• Knowledge of specialty markets, HUB/reimbursement services, and patient access programs.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market dynamics, competitor activities, and ongoing diabetes monitoring trends.
• Capability to collect and analyze data to inform regional strategy, including HUB and patient claims data.
• Proficient in using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and GoTo Meeting.
• Experience in Pediatric Endocrinology and/or Endocrinology is preferred.
• Previous experience in other biopharmaceutical functions is advantageous.
• Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic fields.
• Must have a proven track record of successful field reimbursement management outcomes.
