This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee and ensure optimal performance of the Abbott Point of Care US Distribution network, valued at approximately $80 million.
• Engage with executive-level leaders and key decision makers, including conducting Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Define and develop distributor strategies that align with the strategic imperatives of US Outpatient.
• Ensure that the Sales Team is well-informed about distributor and National Account initiatives.
• Gather and disseminate industry insights and competitive intelligence gained from field and account visits.
• Relay evolving market conditions and business opportunities to US Commercial leadership.
• Suggest improvements to business processes based on feedback from the market and distributors.
• Collaborate with Marketing, C&P, Finance, Legal, and Sales departments on distributor contract negotiations.
• Identify opportunities to modify agreement terms to enhance APOC performance.
• Formulate the distributor strategy for Abbott Point of Care in the US market.
• Manage and influence distributor performance across financial, operational, compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Create analytics infrastructure, dashboards, and reports to track performance against KPIs and service level agreements.
• Perform analyses related to opportunity, risk, distributor potential, performance, optimization, and segmentation.
• Develop and execute change-management processes across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure the implementation of the APOC Quality & Compliance System in collaboration with QA/RA.
• Uphold and advocate for the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with or for distributors.
• Familiarity with sales and distributor practices.
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading through complex business transformations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and project management expertise.
• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrixed environment.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60–80% of the time.
• Advanced degree in business or supply chain is preferred.
