This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to facilitate the transition of newly signed accounts after the sale and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for clients.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with 40–45 small, mid-sized, and enterprise corporate or government accounts.
• Provide direct sales support, solution selling, ongoing relationship management, and account management to drive revenue growth.
• Represent the University within the corporate and higher education sectors to enhance awareness of the University of Phoenix and its educational offerings.
• Engage directly with corporate client stakeholders to address and resolve inquiries regarding products and services.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and Account Executives to onboard and launch clients effectively.
• Develop and implement account plans alongside client engagement, marketing, promotional, and event strategies.
• Act as the account owner and create strategic engagement plans for corporate and government clients.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to corporate client stakeholders and influencers.
• Maintain an understanding of markets, segments, and organizations to identify potential clients that align with strategic goals.
• Work with internal stakeholders, employer clients, and University Academics to manage relationships and identify academic offerings focused on client needs.
• Provide weekly progress updates to senior leadership regarding account performance against targets.
• Update account plans in sales tracking systems and prepare internal and external materials for account reviews.
• Keep informed about relevant markets and degree programs while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Implement engagement strategies across clients’ geographical areas and establish effective communication methods and formats.
• Serve as a B2B resource for Account Specialists to identify direct student engagement opportunities.
• Attend approved Workforce Solutions events, including evenings and weekends, and coordinate client events with leadership and corporate clients.
• Schedule and direct Engagement Representatives to execute the agreed-upon event strategies.
• Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience in managing corporate relationships, along with business development and/or sales experience in non-tangible or service-oriented products.
• One (1) year of experience in the higher education market, particularly related to adult learners.
• Customer service-focused with a proven ability to achieve high levels of satisfaction in employer client tuition programs.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to effectively manage and perform work remotely from a home office with minimal local supervision while maintaining accountability for key performance metrics.
• Exceptional presentation skills for addressing large audiences.
• Strong business acumen with the capability to identify and strategically pursue marketing and business development opportunities.
• Quick to assess information, anticipate potential issues and outcomes, and make informed decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and analytical abilities.
• Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills and a commitment to quality and accuracy in task/project implementation.
• Proven success in business development, specifically utilizing solution selling methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily and weekly deadlines.
• Reliable transportation for attending client and/or community meetings or events.
• Availability for approved events outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, and potential travel outside the local area or state.
