This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee designated national accounts to meet volume, revenue, and profit objectives.
• Create and implement customer business plans that align with channel strategies and specific account goals.
• Lead Joint Business Planning initiatives and collaborate with buyers and category managers to enhance long-term partnerships.
• Utilize insight-driven selling by leveraging category, shopper, and financial data to inform recommendations and identify opportunities.
• Manage pricing, promotions, and trade investments to ensure return on investment and adherence to budget.
• Coordinate the sell-in and activation of new products, innovations, and promotional programs across the account portfolio.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Shopper Insights, and Marketing to provide customized customer solutions.
• Track sales performance, promotional execution, and merchandising compliance using scorecards and performance metrics.
• Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions.
• Deliver timely reporting, analysis, and insights regarding account performance, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in sales or account management within the consumer packaged goods sector or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex national or regional retail accounts with quantifiable sales and market share growth, particularly in Grocery/Dollar channels.
• Experience in developing and executing customer business plans and trade initiatives.
• Strong financial understanding, including pricing, promotions, and trade budget management.
• Proficient in sales analytics tools, CRM platforms, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–50%, including overnight stays.
• Preferred: experience in the consumer goods, tobacco, or regulated industries.
• Preferred: familiarity with revenue growth management, Power BI, Nielsen, or other relevant analytics platforms.
• Preferred: advanced knowledge of distributor incentive programs and performance scorecards.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to or exceeding 45 lbs.
• Capability to navigate convenience stores, warehouses, and retail environments, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
