This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take charge of the commercial strategy and implementation for designated Mass channels, enhancing distribution growth, sales performance, and profitability across major accounts.
• Oversee daily account management involving distributors, cross-functional teams, and retail partners.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities in untapped markets by channel, customer, and product.
• Convert insights into effective distribution, merchandising, and promotional strategies.
• Optimize sales volume, revenue, and profit by leveraging data-driven sales techniques, customer-specific pricing, promotional strategies, and disciplined management of trade investments.
• Collaborate with clients on category management and assortment strategies.
• Work alongside Field Sales, Marketing, Category Management, and Supply Chain to facilitate store resets, product launches, and in-store initiatives.
• Create and deliver tailored annual and quarterly business plans.
• Represent Swisher at national and regional trade exhibitions, industry events, and client meetings.
• Track performance, execution integrity, and market responses; modify plans to address discrepancies and seize opportunities.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
• Minimum of 7 years in progressively responsible Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales roles.
• In-depth customer knowledge and experience managing Walmart accounts.
• Familiarity with Walmart systems and processes.
• Experience utilizing Scintilla data and analytics.
• Proficiency with Walmart Connect and Walmart.com platforms.
• Background in Joint Business Planning (JBP) and its execution.
• Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of employment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including overnight stays, depending on geographic area and customer requirements.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to or exceeding 45 lbs.
• Ability to navigate convenience stores, warehouses, and retail settings, including climbing ladders and working in tight or confined spaces.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
