This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee assigned national accounts to meet volume, revenue, and profit objectives.
• Create and implement customer business plans that align with channel strategies and account-specific goals.
• Facilitate Joint Business Planning (JBP) and work collaboratively with buyers and category managers to enhance long-term relationships.
• Apply insight-driven selling techniques by integrating category, shopper, and financial data to guide recommendations and identify new opportunities.
• Manage pricing, promotions, and trade investments to guarantee ROI and adherence to budget.
• Coordinate the introduction and activation of new products, innovations, and promotional initiatives across the account portfolio.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Shopper Insights, and Marketing to provide customized customer solutions.
• Track sales performance, promotional execution, and merchandising compliance through standardized scorecards and performance monitoring.
• Engage in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
• Deliver timely reports, analyses, and insights regarding account performance, opportunities, and competitive activities.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive sales or account management experience in consumer packaged goods or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex national or regional retail accounts, achieving measurable sales and market share growth, particularly within Grocery/Dollar channels.
• Experience in developing and executing customer business plans and trade programs.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing pricing, promotions, and trade budgets.
• Proficient in sales analytics tools, CRM platforms, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–50%, including overnight stays.
• Preferred: experience in consumer goods, tobacco, or regulated industries.
• Preferred: familiarity with revenue growth management, Power BI, Nielsen, or pertinent analytics platforms.
• Preferred: advanced understanding of distributor incentive programs and performance scorecards.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing 45 lbs or more.
• Capability to navigate convenience stores, warehouses, and retail environments, including climbing ladders and working in tight or confined spaces.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
