National Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive revenue growth that is profitable, enhance customer partnerships, and boost margin performance.

• Lead customer engagement efforts for complex programs, multi-site opportunities, and integrated service solutions throughout MISTRAS’ In-Lab service network.

• Establish and oversee relationships and account governance across procurement, engineering, quality, operations, and senior leadership.

• Own the enterprise-wide account strategy across all MISTRAS locations.

• Quantify the growth potential and whitespace of accounts, translating them into achievable growth targets.

• Manage commercial performance in relation to account KPIs, which include revenue, margin, retention, pipeline, forecast accuracy, and penetration.

• Lead commercial escalations and oversee contract lifecycle management.

• Develop and implement strategic account plans.

• Build trusted solution-partner relationships within assigned accounts.

• Maintain expertise in MISTRAS’ OneSource portfolio, particularly in Aerospace & Defense nondestructive inspection solutions.

• Identify opportunities to enhance service penetration across customer locations, programs, and manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate with Operations and Sales Leadership on commercial commitments, operational capabilities, turnaround expectations, and profitability.

• Facilitate customer discussions regarding technical solutions, inspection strategies, service delivery models, and long-term support agreements.

• Manage opportunities, forecasting, quote follow-up, pipeline management, and strategic account reviews.

• Keep track of account activities, opportunity tracking, and customer information in HubSpot.

• Provide market intelligence and insights on competition.

• Assist in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and the development of commercial strategies.

• Represent MISTRAS at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and professional forums.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory.

• An undergraduate degree is a plus.

• Industry-specific experience and/or NDT knowledge is essential.

• A valid Driver’s License is required.

• Willingness to travel between 30-60% of the time.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is necessary.

• Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders during customer walk-downs and at trade displays.

• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently.
