This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Oversee the strategic expansion and profitability of The Home Depot account.
• Create and implement a detailed account strategy that aligns with The Home Depot's priorities and category growth initiatives.
• Achieve annual targets for sales, margins, and market share.
• Identify opportunities for expanding the product assortment, optimizing pricing, and enhancing promotional effectiveness.
• Lead Product Line Reviews and business discussions with The Home Depot.
• Establish and nurture relationships with merchants, buyers, and cross-functional teams.
• Act as the main national-level contact for The Home Depot.
• Influence decision-making using data, insights, and expertise in the category.
• Collaborate on product assortment, lifecycle management, planograms, in-store execution, product launches, and resets.
• Utilize POS data and analytics to provide category insights and recommendations.
• Create sales forecasts and demand plans in conjunction with internal teams and The Home Depot.
• Track performance against forecasts and pinpoint risks and opportunities.
• Work in partnership with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Oversee pricing strategies, margin performance, RFPs, contracts, terms of sale, and problem resolution.
• Ensure timely delivery, in-stock performance, and service levels that meet The Home Depot's expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in national or key account management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales; big-box experience preferred, particularly with Lowe’s or Home Depot.
• Demonstrated success in managing large national retail accounts.
• Experience working closely with merchant teams and retail buyers.
• Strong comprehension of forecasting, pricing, margins, and budget management.
• Capability to collaborate effectively across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience teams.
• Proficient in leading complex negotiations and influencing customer decisions.
• Experience with leveraging POS data, syndicated insights, and forecasting tools.
• Skilled in delivering engaging, clear presentations and establishing credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to talk, hear, manipulate objects or controls, stand, and walk.
• Capacity to occasionally stoop, bend, reach above shoulder height, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform regular computer-based tasks requiring sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment.
• Occasional travel.
