This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership and cultivate Force Factor’s business with national retail partners.
• Establish customer relationships, broaden distribution, and enhance profitable growth within assigned accounts.
• Propel year-over-year growth in territory by increasing distribution, boosting velocity, securing shelf space, and uncovering whitespace opportunities.
• Manage the complete P&L and commercial relationships for designated national retail accounts.
• Oversee trade spending and promotional ROI; collaborate with finance on deductions and profitable promotional investments.
• Lead broker relationships and ensure partners are accountable for execution and results.
• Handle account-level sales forecasts alongside demand planning and supply chain management.
• Align inventory with promotional strategies and customer demand to sustain in-stock levels, OTIF delivery, and fill rates.
• Create and implement joint business plans, annual strategies, promotional tactics, innovation presentations, and category assessments.
• Foster relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers at accounts.
• Enhance distribution and velocity through partnerships with distributors.
• Conduct ingredient-focused, scientifically-informed sales discussions.
• Identify new distribution prospects that align with Force Factor’s brand ethos.
• Craft consumer-insight-driven selling narratives customized for each retailer.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations to execute business strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate account-level sales data to recognize trends and growth prospects.
• Represent Force Factor at trade shows, customer engagements, and industry gatherings.
• Report directly to the Chief Retail Officer.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university is mandatory.
• 4–7 years of experience in national account management within CPG.
• Proven and substantial record of driving growth with national retailers.
• Demonstrated career stability, having worked at no more than two companies in the last seven years.
• Clear upward career trajectory evidenced by earned promotions and expanding scope, responsibilities, and ownership of business outcomes.
• Direct involvement with national retailer relationships, including headquarters sales meetings, buyer interactions, business plan negotiations, and account-level performance.
• Ability to credibly discuss ingredient science, formulation strategies, and clinical differentiation.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to synthesize SPINS, POS, and distributor data.
• Skilled in developing strategic joint business plans and presenting convincingly to buyers and senior retail decision-makers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the capability to manage a multi-account portfolio and meet competing deadlines.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of ownership; operates with urgency and initiative.
• Comfortable working independently while maintaining connections with internal teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently to accounts and headquarters.
• Detail-oriented, driven, competitive, and motivated to achieve success.
• Experience in vitamins, supplements, or health and wellness is strongly preferred.
• A degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
