This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Propel growth by establishing strategic alliances with prominent CPG brands and major retail entities.
• Enhance in-store display initiatives by pinpointing opportunities and crafting merchandising solutions that align with brand identity.
• Act as the primary liaison for CPG and retail partners.
• Convert brand goals into display programs that boost visibility, enhance sell-through rates, and improve category performance.
• Identify and cultivate new partnerships within the CPG and retail sectors.
• Engage with brand, trade marketing, and retail decision-makers to comprehend objectives and shopper marketing priorities.
• Develop customized display and merchandising solutions that reflect brand strategies and campaigns.
• Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to create effective display solutions.
• Lead efforts for proposals and quotes, ensuring timely delivery.
• Serve as a bridge between clients and internal teams from concept through to installation.
• Monitor the performance of programs and market trends.
• Track opportunities and report using CRM tools.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development or account management, ideally within a CPG company, retail organization, or beverage brand.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Self-driven and motivated to seek out, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
• Capability to identify new markets, devise innovative solutions, and translate customer requirements into effective display solutions.
• Proven experience managing key accounts while fostering long-term client relationships or leading retail store teams focused on customer and associate engagement.
• Exceptional communication skills via phone, email, and in-person with the ability to influence decision-makers across various levels.
• Strong organizational abilities and a demonstrated capability to manage CRM tools effectively.
• Understanding of P&L management and forecasting.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel (50%).
• Must reside in proximity to a major airport.
• Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in CPG, retail, DSD, or beverage sectors is advantageous.
• California residents are not eligible for this position.
