This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Serve as the main executive contact for national account clients and their brokers.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with senior leaders in HR, finance, and benefits.
• Lead quarterly and annual meetings to discuss plan performance, presenting metrics, claim trends, and strategic recommendations.
• Represent Cobalt at client executive meetings, industry conferences, and client-hosted events as required.
• Provide proactive insights on emerging trends in the industry, compliance updates, and factors influencing healthcare costs.
• Collaborate with clients to assess benefit plan performance and discover opportunities for cost savings and improvements in employee health.
• Work alongside Sales and Underwriting to enhance renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
• Partner with the National Accounts Account Manager to guarantee smooth daily service execution.
• Oversee escalations, ensuring that complex client issues are addressed promptly and transparently.
• Act as the executive point of escalation for high-visibility issues affecting client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Health Plan Performance/Analytics Consulting team to provide tailored data reporting.
• Convert analytics into executive insights and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Ensure clients are equipped with data-driven strategies for renewal and performance planning.
• Foster accountability among internal stakeholders to meet National Account standards.
• Take part in the National Accounts Leadership Council to promote ongoing improvements in client experience.
• Contribute to best practices that distinguish National Accounts from the Core business.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in national account management, strategic client services, or benefits consulting.
• Proven success in engaging with C-suite executives and presenting to senior leadership teams.
• In-depth knowledge of self-funded health plans, stop-loss, and large group benefits administration is essential.
• Exceptional executive presence along with strong communication and presentation skills are required.
• Capability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and reporting/BI tools.
• Willingness to travel (up to 30-40%) for client stewardship meetings, onsite events, and conferences.
• A strategic, collaborative, consultative, and solution-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving results.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify.
