Music Production Expert – Mandarin Chinese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess generative music AI models in collaboration with a prominent AI laboratory.

• Conduct direct comparisons of AI-produced songs based on musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.

• Categorize songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and various musical attributes.

• Evaluate AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference materials for quality and precision.

• Operate in both Mandarin Chinese and English.

• Submit a resume and complete the application and onboarding procedures.

• Partner with top researchers on initiatives aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native command of Mandarin Chinese.

• Ability to adhere to detailed written instructions in English.

• Over 2 years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.

• Possess headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Completion of the Bilingual Competency Interview in Mandarin Chinese is required.

• H1-B or STEM OPT candidates will not be considered.

• Formal education in music performance, theory, or composition is preferred (nice to have).

• Experience with credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work is a plus (nice to have).

• Broad knowledge of contemporary Mandarin Chinese genres, sub-genres, and artists is advantageous (nice to have).
