MuleSoft Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and support comprehensive integration solutions utilizing the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

• Create and manage Mule 4.x services, flows, connectors, and reusable integration components.

• Develop APIs and integration services leveraging RAML 1.0, REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.

• Implement and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for data movement, transformation, validation, and orchestration across various systems.

• Create transformations using DataWeave 2.0 and associated mapping logic.

• Integrate enterprise learning platforms with both upstream and downstream enterprise systems, including legacy learning platforms and relevant business applications.

• Convert business requirements into scalable integration and data movement solutions in collaboration with technical leads and architects.

• Assist with deployment, release management, CI/CD pipelines, and environment promotion tasks.

• Diagnose interface failures, data issues, and API defects; conduct root-cause analysis and implement resolutions.

• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, mappings, transformations, and support procedures.

• Collaborate with QA, data engineering, and platform teams to ensure the quality of solutions and readiness for delivery.

• Provide status updates in a geographically distributed delivery environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development or integration engineering.

• Strong practical experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

• Extensive knowledge of Mule 4.x and DataWeave 2.0.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering new APIs utilizing RAML 1.0 and API-led connectivity.

• Significant experience with ETL/ELT processes, data movement, and transformation workflows.

• Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and web services.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, release management, and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced delivery environment.

• Comfort in participating in online meetings and providing clear status updates to distributed teams.

• Exposure to learning platforms, HR systems, or talent technology ecosystems.

• Experience integrating with Salesforce, identity platforms, or enterprise reporting tools.

• Knowledge of reusable MuleSoft design patterns and integration frameworks.

• Familiarity with Python for scripting, automation, or supporting integration utilities.

• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or Claude for enhancing developer productivity.

• Experience working within a global, distributed delivery model.
