This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Evaluate digital phenotyping tools used in breeding programs, such as drones, satellites, rovers, handheld devices, and new technologies.
• Collaborate with breeding teams to analyze the data produced and aid in the development and execution of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Create a comprehensive report outlining the opportunities, challenges, and suggestions for the adoption and expansion of digital phenotyping tools.
• Examine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for coherence, relevance, and effectiveness, pinpointing areas for improvement.
• Perform a detailed cost analysis of digital phenotyping tools to evaluate their value, scalability, and sustainability.
• Assist in defining services, identifying optimization opportunities, and enhancing the continuous improvement of digital phenotyping services provided through GSS.
• Proven experience with phenotyping and/or image analysis tools.
• A strong interest in pursuing a career that integrates scientific research and service delivery.
• Experience in developing business cases and deploying services would be considered a plus.
