This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Transform potential prospects and leads into customers by taking charge of the sales dialogue, proposal creation, and negotiation stages.
• Establish a pipeline filled with high-quality opportunities aligned with budgetary and sales targets.
• Regularly update activity logs and customer information within MS Dynamics CRM.
• Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual account planning.
• Spearhead the development of detailed written proposals that respond to customer needs and requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Solution Design teams to refine proposals.
• Cultivate an understanding of competitors and their products.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies for supply chain solutions across various sectors.
• Establish and nurture relationships with both existing and potential clients.
• Conduct market analysis to pinpoint sales opportunities and industry trends.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Track sales performance metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Provide insights to enhance product offerings based on customer feedback and market demands.
• A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in selling intricate supply chain solutions.
• Familiarity with aerospace OEM spares/MRO divisions.
• Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Management through Sales, Operational, or Program Management positions.
• Established connections within the Aerospace, Space & Defense sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and technologies.
• Proven experience in presenting to, selling to, and/or influencing C-level executives.
• A successful history of meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
• Ability to effectively manage a complex, multi-departmental sales process.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and sales calls.
• Capability to analyze complex datasets, derive actionable insights, and translate them into strategic recommendations and requirements.
• Knowledge of real-time data analytics, visibility tools, and methodologies for supply chain optimization.
• Experience in creating and implementing raw material commodity strategies and their corresponding strategic sourcing.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in presenting to executive leadership and influencing decisions at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in crafting persuasive PowerPoint presentations.
• Solid background in proposal/project management and delivery, managing multiple opportunities, adhering to deadlines, and ensuring high-quality results.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across various functions and departments.
• Proficient at handling multiple projects and effectively prioritizing tasks.
• This role necessitates access to export-controlled technical data or technology; employment is contingent upon obtaining any necessary export authorization.
• Passing a pre-employment drug test is required for employment consideration.
