Mortgage Product Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Influence the evolution of Valon’s SaaS mortgage servicing platform.

• Lead the implementation of the platform with enterprise clients.

• Foster customer engagement from the initial sales presentation through to implementation and ongoing success after launch.

• Serve as a mortgage servicing subject matter expert to translate business requirements into product features.

• Interact with clients throughout the deployment process, including sales demonstrations, training, and product support.

• Provide clients with guidance on effectively utilizing Valon’s system.

• Assess client needs and customize solutions that yield measurable results.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to convert feedback into feature requests and enhancements to the platform.

• Assist with client implementations, including travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in mortgage servicing.

• Extensive knowledge of key concepts within the mortgage servicing industry.

• Hands-on experience in managing the technical and operational deployment of a new servicing system.

• Previous experience with Foreclosure & Bankruptcy is preferred.

• Experience in client-facing roles.

• Capability to act as a mortgage servicing subject matter expert.

• Technically proficient, including skills in building, debugging, and optimizing workflows.

• Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

• Willingness to travel as needed, roughly 25–50% of the time.
