This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Facilitate the progression of mortgage applications from the initial application and setup to the loan closing stage.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and prospects both in person and via telephone.
• Address client inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Receive, review, reconcile, upload, index, and validate loan documentation.
• Ensure that all required forms, fees, and documentation are complete and accurate.
• Gather and evaluate client income, assets, investments, and debts in accordance with regulatory, product, and underwriting standards.
• Verify supporting documentation related to income, assets, liabilities, and Social Security.
• Communicate any discrepancies, missing information, and outstanding documentation to Mortgage Advisors and Mortgage Client Coordinators.
• Collaborate with third-party partners to secure appraisals, credit supplements, title commitments, verifications, insurance, payoff statements, and other relevant information.
• Obtain and review tax transcripts, insurance documentation, condo questionnaires, employment verifications, fraud alerts, and appraisals as necessary.
• Order documents as mandated by AUS findings, investors, and regulatory agencies.
• Prioritize and oversee workflow to adhere to Pinnacle's service level agreements (SLAs).
• Prepare, resubmit, and resolve PTA, approval, and PTC underwriting conditions.
• Prepare and issue Change of Circumstance, Loan Estimate, Notice of Intent (NOI), Adverse Action, and other client communications.
• Close incomplete loan files when the necessary documentation is not obtained.
• Refer clients to Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, and additional specialty areas as appropriate.
• Support team members and undertake other assigned responsibilities.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial services and/or mortgage lending is necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software.
• Comprehensive understanding of bank products and services.
• Familiarity with federal and state banking regulations and mortgage lending compliance standards.
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA, VA, and Jumbo loans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Understanding of essential mortgage lending documentation, processes, and procedures.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask with competing priorities and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Exceptional client service skills.
• Tact and diplomacy when interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform physical activities, including prolonged sitting/standing, manual dexterity, verbal communication, visual acuity, repetitive motion, hearing, bending, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
