Mortgage Loan Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete and review loan applications alongside borrowers and Mortgage Loan Officers.

• Clarify the mortgage process, including timelines and key milestones, to customers.

• Order and monitor appraisals, title work, flood determinations, and credit reports.

• Prepare and provide necessary disclosures and documentation.

• Gather and assess documents required for underwriting.

• Coordinate commitment letters and fulfill loan conditions.

• Ensure timely delivery of appraisals and Closing Disclosures.

• Schedule closings and liaise with all involved parties.

• Act as the main point of contact throughout the mortgage process.

• Facilitate a seamless customer experience from application to closing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in mortgage loan processing.

• Background as a mortgage loan assistant, underwriter, or in closing.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire mortgage lifecycle, encompassing origination, processing, underwriting, pricing, and loan servicing.

• Familiarity with Mortgage Loan Origination Systems (LOS).

• Knowledge of mortgage compliance and disclosure regulations.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Capability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.

• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

• Proficient computer and technology skills.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently.
