This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Achieve or surpass set sales targets through external sales and various activities.
• Cultivate, nurture, and oversee relationships with Centers of Influence, clients, and potential clients.
• Provide consultations to clients and prospects to comprehend their home lending and business objectives.
• Identify and advocate for U.S. Bancorp products and services to fulfill customer and banking needs.
• Establish and sustain profitable lending and deposit partnerships.
• Meet clients and prospects at their business locations to evaluate institutional home lending requirements and financial aspirations.
• Expand a profitable loan portfolio by developing relationships and generating leads.
• Enhance client and COI relationships through additional products and services.
• Direct clients to other U.S. Bancorp divisions and assist team members with their additional requirements.
• Represent the bank at civic and community events to foster business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Consumer Direct MLOs to design and implement sales strategies, as well as exchange leads/referrals.
• Conduct joint external sales calls with banking partners.
• Create and manage tailored sales and marketing strategies.
• Customize sales techniques and promoted products to align with each client’s unique situation.
• Ensure adherence to the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, information security, suspicious activity reporting, and account-opening protocols.
• Engage in mandatory corporate and business-line training.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in mortgage lending, relationship banking, or a similar sales position.
• Proven success in external sales, business development, and relationship management.
• Experience in establishing and managing relationships with clients and Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Strong consultative selling abilities with the capacity to evaluate client needs and suggest suitable financial solutions.
• Documented history of achieving or surpassing sales targets and fostering a profitable pipeline.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, home lending procedures, and market trends.
• National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration as per the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
• Completion of the necessary NMLS registration process, including criminal background and credit checks.
• Capability to meet and uphold NMLS registration standards, including a satisfactory criminal and credit history.
• Preferred: Experience in mortgage loan origination, external sales, or related banking/sales roles with proven production outcomes.
• Preferred: Active involvement in community or industry organizations.
• Preferred: Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Preferred: Experience in developing and executing tailored sales and marketing strategies.

• Preferred: Experience in cross-functional collaboration to share referrals and strengthen client relationships across various business lines.
• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct as well as workplace conduct and safety guidelines.
