This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
• Identify opportunities for commercial real estate debt.
• Build new client relationships while enhancing current partnerships.
• Source financing options from various channels including agency, life company, CMBS, banks, and other capital sources.
• Cultivate new client connections nationwide through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and participation in industry conferences.
• Collaborate with Grandbridge underwriting teams on mortgage application processes and necessary documentation.
• Design multifamily debt and equity financing solutions.
• Negotiate mortgage loan terms with clients.
• Manage the transaction process from initial loan identification through screening, underwriting, closing, and servicing.
• Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to borrowers.
• Establish, nurture, and sustain relationships with multifamily owners and developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent education and related training.
• Over 5 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, mortgage banking, brokerage, or capital markets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the physical characteristics of all types of commercial properties.
• Familiarity with standard real estate lending parameters, interest rate structures, and reasonableness evaluations.
• Proven production track record and existing industry connections.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and real estate underwriting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluency in the English language is mandatory.
• Ability to adhere to relevant FDIA, SAFE Act, Regulation Z, securities, FINRA, and investment adviser regulations.
• Preferred: Established network of commercial real estate owners, developers, and investors.
• Preferred: Demonstrated annual production volume exceeding $100 million.
• Preferred: Experience with agency lending, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, life company placements, CMBS, and bank financing.
• Commission-only compensation based on the standard commission rate and terms, which may include a salary draw.
