This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Deploy, manage, and maintain UAS, USV, UUV, and UGV platforms in operational settings.
β’ Assist in mission execution involving both autonomous and semi-autonomous systems.
β’ Configure, manage, and troubleshoot autonomy and autopilot hardware/software during real-time operations.
β’ Conduct systems integration, pre-mission assessments, and post-mission evaluations.
β’ Repair and maintain vehicle systems, payloads, and associated ground support equipment.
β’ Operate systems in environments with minimal infrastructure, communication, or support.
β’ Provide comprehensive operational feedback to engineering teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
β’ Assist in business development activities, demonstrations, customer assessments, training events, and deployments.
β’ Travel to testing sites, customer locations, and various operational environments.
β’ Professionally represent ASR to customers, partners, and government entities.
β’ Primarily operate and support unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with ASR technology, with chances to assist with surface, undersea, and ground vehicles.
β’ Offer direct feedback to engineering and sales teams based on operational experiences and customer interactions.
β’ 5 years of practical experience in deploying, operating, or maintaining unmanned systems (UAS, USV, UUV, UGV).
β’ Possession of a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
β’ Experience operating systems in challenging field and/or maritime operational settings.
β’ Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, or systems troubleshooting.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Capability to remain calm and effective under operational stress.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice.
β’ Ability to undertake travel, including international journeys.
β’ Capacity to work irregular hours to support field operations and deployments.
β’ Ability to lift, transport, and operate heavy field equipment as necessary.
β’ Preferred: Military experience in operating, maintaining, or deploying unmanned systems across land, air, or maritime domains.
β’ Preferred: Experience with operations of autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles.
β’ Preferred: Background in supporting defense, maritime, aerospace, or safety-critical commercial operations.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with command-and-control systems, mission planning software, or autonomy platforms.
β’ Preferred: Experience in classified, export-controlled, or government-related environments.
β’ Preferred: U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
