Missile Industrial Base Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses on missile manufacturing, supply chains, and dependencies within the industrial base.

• Create comprehensive written materials, such as memos, reports, briefings, and data summaries, intended for senior stakeholders within the Department of War.

• Recognize capability deficiencies, production limitations, material obstacles, vendor dependencies, and areas for enhancing the missile industrial base.

• Collaborate with government program offices, industry partners, and technical specialists to gather and verify data.

• Provide support for working groups and engagements with senior leadership.

• Aid in the modeling and evaluation of production chains, capacities, and timelines.

• Assist in program planning, risk evaluations, and strategic options analysis.

• Travel up to 20% to government sites, program offices, and industrial facilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, physics, data analytics, operations research, or a related discipline).

• Over 10 years of experience related to missiles or the Missile Industrial Base.

• Exceptional writing, presentation, and analytical communication abilities.

• Proven experience in producing formal reports derived from research findings.

• Capability to effectively communicate complex technical subjects to senior stakeholders across Federal agencies.

• Active Secret clearance is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

• Previous experience supporting OSW, Joint Staff, or Service staff is preferred.

• A Master’s degree in a relevant technical or analytical field is preferred.

• Experience within a DoW missile program office (in areas such as acquisition, engineering, logistics, or industrial base) is preferred.

• Background in the industry related to the production of missiles, components, or sub-components is preferred.

• Experience in developing visual or functional models of production chains or industrial processes is preferred.

• Familiarity with a Service’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process is preferred.

• An active Top Secret clearance is preferred.
