Mid/Senior .NET Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain integration features within the .NET-based Services Center.

• Create service connectors, data transformation pipelines, and APIs for vendor interaction.

• Write clean, thoroughly tested C# code and participate in peer code reviews.

• Construct and manage SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models.

• Implement and uphold third-party vendor integrations, ensuring accurate bidirectional data exchange.

• Identify and resolve defects across multiple environments.

• Collaborate with senior engineers on integration design and architectural decisions.

• Contribute to the reliability, retry patterns, error handling, and monitoring of non-interactive services.

• Assist in the creation of integration documentation, data mapping references, automated testing, and enhancements to engineering processes.

• Work closely with product management, QA, and senior engineers within a compact Agile team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience with the Microsoft technology stack.

• Expertise in C# and the .NET framework / .NET Core.

• Extensive experience in designing and consuming web APIs, along with working with external vendor specifications to ensure reliable data exchange.

• Proficient in SQL Server, including the ability to write efficient queries and stored procedures.

• Proven capability to work independently as a self-starter and drive tasks to completion.

• Experience in Agile team environments.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.

• Background in building or maintaining distributed, high-throughput systems where reliability and performance are critical.

• Demonstrated experience in performance profiling, optimization, and tuning.

• Hands-on experience with implementing third-party vendor integrations, including interpreting API documentation, managing authentication methods, and field-level data mapping.

• Familiarity with Redis for caching and distributed data.

• Experience in developing and deploying workloads on Microsoft Azure.

• Involvement in large enterprise applications.

• Curiosity and eagerness to explore unfamiliar sections of a large codebase.

• Self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of ownership over tasks.

• Commitment to producing readable code, sensible tests, and thoughtful design.
