Middle DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop robust and fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions.

• Expand infrastructure capabilities to accommodate high traffic loads.

• Establish build and code delivery workflows.

• Streamline and automate routine operations.

• Introduce and implement innovative tools and technologies.

• Assist in the support and development of database clusters.

• Oversee and resolve issues within production Kubernetes clusters and create Helm charts.

• Engage in on-call responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps.

• Proficient in managing Linux servers and infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

• Experience with GitLab CI: configuring CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery of Docker containers containing Python or Go applications.

• Skilled in setting up and maintaining database clusters including PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Aerospike, and Consul.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems like Zabbix, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK, and Sentry.

• Proficient in containerization technologies: Docker and docker-compose.

• Experienced in managing and troubleshooting production Kubernetes environments, including writing Helm charts.

• Knowledgeable in supporting and developing PostgreSQL clusters, with an understanding of high availability, backup strategies, and replication principles.
