This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Oversee a portfolio of current customer accounts to sustain and enhance sales.
• Create marketing and sales outreach strategies tailored to specific accounts.
• Foster long-term relationships with customers while addressing their needs.
• Act as the primary contact for individual customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and client services to showcase offerings and secure business deals.
• Manage CDA and MSA processes as necessary.
• Address conflicts and provide customer solutions utilizing internal resources.
• Deliver monthly reports on account and transaction status to sales leaders.
• Present territory performance metrics to internal teams.
• Establish and monitor sales account targets in alignment with company goals.
• Create quarterly business plans for accounts, including KPIs and growth strategies.
• Supply customer feedback and market insights to product management and marketing teams.
• Keep accurate CRM records for effective account management and forecasting.
• Monitor changes in customer organizations, acquisitions, and opportunities in the territory.
• Develop quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
• Track sales metrics and suggest improvements for performance.
• Promote transactional sales to eCommerce through customer education and oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a technical background in drug discovery related fields.
• At least 3+ years of experience in inside sales/account management or a comparable customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated experience as a sales account manager in the life sciences or a similar customer-oriented position.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to support sales development in drug discovery.
• Sales competencies including negotiation, customer management, and price optimization.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
• Capability to manage time effectively for maximum business impact.
• Understanding of sales performance metrics and data analysis for reporting purposes.
• Knowledge and experience in drug discovery.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel within assigned customer territories.
• Capacity to meet with customers face-to-face and conduct productive meetings.
• Proficient in using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Eligibility to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to complete projects and respond to inquiries punctually.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.
