Mid-level Shopify Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create, test, implement, and sustain high-performing Shopify themes adhering to industry best practices.

• Provide innovative technical solutions to address intricate ecommerce needs.

• Perform code evaluations and uphold exceptional standards for quality and maintainability.

• Work collaboratively across various disciplines to define, design, and execute new features.

• Share expertise and contribute to the enhancement of team knowledge, culture, and processes.

• Develop from-theme builds and bespoke themes on Shopify Store 2.0.

• Counsel project managers on technical scope and serve as a primary technical problem solver.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience delivering functional, responsive Shopify/Shopify Plus websites.

• Strong comprehension of Shopify Store 2.0 architecture, Liquid, and theme development.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Familiarity with Git version control.

• 2+ years in a commercial development setting.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A proactive attitude and a willingness to stay current with Shopify and web trends.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).

• Knowledge of CLI tools and build pipelines (such as Rollup, Vite, esbuild, GitHub Actions) (preferred).

• Exposure to contemporary JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Alpine.js) (preferred).
