Mid-Level Lawyer – Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the management and oversight of the company's portfolio of cases related to civil law, consumer law, and intellectual property.

• Address judicial, administrative, and law enforcement inquiries.

• Aid in the management and administration of the company's intellectual property assets, such as trademarks, patents, and software registrations.

• Play a role in safeguarding and enhancing the value of the intellectual property portfolio.

• Support the management and supervision of retained external law firms to ensure technical quality, strategic fit, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee, track, and continuously enhance litigation and intellectual property KPIs, emphasizing innovation, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

• Provide strategic legal support to the business and address matters related to the practice area in a collaborative remote work setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (Law degree).

• Current registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Specialization in Civil Procedure (mandatory).

• Over 3 years of experience in dispute resolution, particularly in civil and consumer litigation.

• Proven experience in managing litigation portfolios and external legal firms.

• Experience in managing intellectual property assets, including administrative cases with the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and litigation.

• Excellent organizational skills and discipline in meeting deadlines.

• Ability to communicate effectively with non-legal stakeholders.

• Self-motivated with strong prioritization abilities.

• Business insight and a data-driven approach.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in English is an advantage.

• Specialization in Intellectual Property is an advantage.
