This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop, revise, and maintain educational materials, assessments, and digital learning resources for BARBRI's UK product offerings.
• Ensure all content complies with legal standards, is pedagogically sound, and meets BARBRI's editorial and quality criteria.
• Review, edit, and verify materials produced by internal teams and external subject matter experts.
• Keep track of changes in regulations, legislation, and assessments, updating content proactively as necessary.
• Perform legal research using authoritative sources and integrate findings into course materials and assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to improve existing products and assist in the creation of new educational solutions.
• Use content management systems and digital tools to organize, manage, and maintain educational content.
• Analyze feedback from learners and clients to make content improvements that enhance the learning experience.
• Offer subject matter expertise and assist with learner inquiries in specific areas of legal specialization.
• Aid in course accreditation processes and contribute to regulatory submissions and reviews as needed.
• Support the onboarding and quality assurance processes for freelance authors and content contributors.
• Participate in product innovation projects, thought leadership initiatives, proposals, and academic support activities as required.
• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales or practicing Barrister.
• Proven expertise in Wills & Probate, Tort, Trusts, Contract Law, Dispute Resolution, or similar legal fields.
• Experience in creating legal education materials, including course content, assessments, question banks, and e-learning resources for professional qualifications and development programs.
• Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and technical writing.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex legal concepts to diverse learner audiences.
• Understanding of legal education, professional qualifications, and the requirements of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional learners.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote work setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms like Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar tools.
• Ability to responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance content development and productivity.
• Applicants must possess the right to work in the United Kingdom without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
