This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Act as the business owner and strategic leader for the Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) platform.
• Oversee platform administration, configuration, testing, releases, enhancements, and continuous optimization.
• Set governance and operational standards for matter management, e-billing, workflows, user access, data quality, and reporting.
• Create and implement the ELM platform roadmap in alignment with Legal Operations and business priorities.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors to provide scalable technology solutions and process improvements.
• Promote user adoption, training, change management, and adherence to platform best practices.
• Generate reporting, dashboards, and analytics to enhance legal operations performance, legal spend management, and informed decision-making.
• Assess and apply legal technology enhancements, integrations, automation prospects, and emerging capabilities.
• Manage vendor relationships and supervise the delivery of technology solutions that align with Legal Operations objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in supporting Legal Operations, Enterprise Legal Management (ELM), legal technology, or similar legal systems.
• Practical experience in administering, managing, or optimizing ELM and e-billing platforms such as TeamConnect, Collaborati, Legal Tracker, Onit, SimpleLegal, Mitratech, or comparable legal technology solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of legal matter management, e-billing, legal spend management, outside counsel management, workflow automation, and reporting.
• Experience serving as a business owner, platform owner, product owner, or administrator for enterprise legal technology solutions.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and fostering partnerships across Legal, IT, Finance, Procurement, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in evaluating, implementing, or enhancing legal technology platforms and related business processes.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.
• Access to cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload while working from home.
