Mid-Level Full Stack Developer, NodeJs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development and testing of REST APIs and integrations with HR and Asset Management Software.

• Assist in the design and creation of responsive, user-friendly web application interfaces.

• Utilize AI tools and LLMs for basic code creation, review, and testing under the supervision of senior developers.

• Engage in the creation and maintenance of test cases aligned with business requirements.

• Aid in the development of reusable code and libraries for both front-end and back-end.

• Collaborate with team members to convert straightforward user and business requirements into functional code.

• Adhere to guidance from senior developers and established full-stack best practices.

• Assist in identifying and resolving coding issues throughout the stack.

• Work alongside senior engineers and product managers to comprehend requirements and enhance solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong eagerness to grow and acquire new technical skills and industry best practices.

• A solid understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and web development principles.

• 3-5 years of experience in web development, encompassing both Frontend and Backend.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, and TypeScript.

• A good grasp of CSS, preprocessors (SASS or SCSS), and frameworks such as Tailwind.

• Experience with REST APIs, either by consuming or constructing endpoints.

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and a desire to learn about serverless functions (Firebase Functions or AWS Lambda).

• An interest in learning and employing AI tools, like LLMs, for coding and testing purposes.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies or a willingness to learn within a Scrum development framework.

• Basic familiarity with GitHub, Figma, and Miro.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Candidates based in Latam.

• Availability that aligns with PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
