Mid-Level Developer Analyst – PHP/Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain robust applications utilizing PHP, TypeScript, and Node.js, ensuring solutions that are scalable and high-performing.

• Ensure code excellence through best development practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and proactive identification of issues.

• Engage in product definition and development, collaborating with UX/UI, product, and business teams to deliver solutions that satisfy customer requirements.

• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines to guarantee continuous software delivery with high quality and minimal latency.

• Work alongside the team to enhance development processes and promote a culture of agile, continuous delivery.

• Monitor and refine application performance by pinpointing bottlenecks and suggesting improvements.

• Actively partake in the planning and analysis stages of new projects, assisting in technology selection and architectural definition.

• Function as a technical lead on complex projects, mentoring and supporting other developers in their professional development.

• Continuously integrate with other platforms and external APIs, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

⛳️ Requirements

• PHP: Extensive experience with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Zend, coupled with thorough knowledge of systems architecture.

• TypeScript: Proficient experience in developing systems with TypeScript for both backend (Node.js) and frontend applications (using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js).

• Node.js: Comprehensive understanding of building microservices, scalable APIs, and Node.js applications with frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and PHPUnit to ensure adequate test coverage and code quality.

• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines employing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI.

• Strong proficiency with Git and code versioning practices.

• Experience implementing development best practices such as Clean Code, code reviews, and design patterns.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services.

• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes: Experience with containers, orchestration, and deploying containers in production settings is preferred.

• Ability to design distributed systems and scalable solutions.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Understanding of software security best practices, including OWASP.

• Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools, such as the ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry.
