Mid-level Data Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services utilizing C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

• Create and update SOAP and REST APIs, ensuring adherence to best practices and versioning protocols.

• Guarantee service reliability through unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate on the integration of various systems and services, employing software design patterns.

• Conduct code reviews and offer mentorship to junior team members.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance existing solutions.

• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and best practices to boost development efficiency.

• Engage with a multicultural team located in Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, with communication conducted in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in production environments.

• Strong understanding of ADO.NET and SQL Server.

• Experience in database design and performance optimization.

• Practical experience with SOAP and RESTful services.

• Proficient in XML serialization and deserialization.

• Solid understanding of software design patterns and industry best practices.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural teams.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Proactive approach to task ownership with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A collaborative team player who values collective success.

• Ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing requirements.

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development.
