Mid-level Data Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and sustain scalable data pipelines along with ETL/ELT processes for analytics and business intelligence.

• Establish data architectures, which include data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers.

• Execute data quality assessments, validation methods, and monitoring systems.

• Create and uphold integrations between data sources, third-party applications, and analytics platforms.

• Work alongside Data & Analytics Managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Oversee and improve data pipeline performance, query efficiency, and storage expenditures.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation for data architectures, pipelines, and procedures.

• Apply security best practices and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.

• Utilize AI tools and automation to improve data engineering workflows and productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with major Cloud Platform providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.

• A solid command of English at B2 level or higher.

• Experience engaging with international clients.

• Extensive expertise in developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

• Skilled in data warehousing solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).

• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).

• Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

• Experience with contemporary data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, etc.).

• Familiarity with streaming data platforms (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis).

• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Experience in AI/ML pipeline development and MLOps.

• Background in D2C initiatives and e-commerce analytics.

• Certifications in cloud platforms or data engineering.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Spanish communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) are mandatory.
