Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm's clients across various matters

• Review documents and draft legal pleadings

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance case outcomes and reduce risks

• Ensure adherence to relevant legal standards and aid in achieving set targets while maintaining legal certainty

• Serve as a negotiator and conflict-resolution expert, facilitating efficient resolutions

• Manage different phases of legal proceedings, from contract evaluation and drafting to representing clients in judicial and administrative matters

• Conduct, organize, and supervise legal advisory tasks, ensuring compliance in commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy regulations

• Oversee and track the portfolio of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients

• Assist in the review and preparation of legal pleadings and documents

• Generate litigation and legal-contingency reports utilizing the firm's proprietary system

• Draft and finalize legal instruments of varying complexity

• Evaluate risks, perform legal diagnostics, and propose legal alternatives to further the firm's goals

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)

• Postgraduate education in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law is advantageous; specialization in fields like Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law is also preferred

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

• In-depth knowledge of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, with a focus on drafting legal pleadings and performing contract analysis

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution

• Ability to collaborate within a team, possessing excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Familiarity with Civil and Procedural Law

• Proficient in legal research

• Competent in legal writing and drafting pleadings

• Experience in case and deadline management

• Strong negotiation skills
