MES Specialist II – Industrial Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute business processes on the MES platform related to Production, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance.

• Establish solutions that align with MOM architecture and elaborate on MES functional requirements.

• Evaluate production processes to uncover opportunities for standardization, OEE enhancement, and synergies across production lines.

• Seamlessly integrate processes and data among MES, SAP S/4HANA, and industrial automation systems.

• Collaborate across squads, value streams, and chapters, eliminating obstacles while upholding the product vision.

• Organize Industrial IT support and governance to maintain production continuity and data integrity.

• Identify and address operational bottlenecks and systemic MES failures.

• Develop and implement test plans, ensuring traceability and adherence to industry standards.

• Guide less experienced team members and foster the technical development of the team.

• Encourage ongoing product enhancement through feedback and the adoption of best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing, customizing, and configuring solutions on MES platforms.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in integrating MES with SAP S/4HANA, covering PP, MM, QM, and EWM.

• In-depth understanding of shop-floor operational workflows.

• Proficiency in designing and modeling processes utilizing BPMN.

• Involvement in at least two complete MES implementation cycles, from requirements gathering and architecture to Go-Live and post-stabilization.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and provide production support during critical situations.

• Functional knowledge of SAP modules such as PP, PM, or QM is advantageous.

• Experience in integrating with industrial automation, sensors, scales, batch printers, conveyors, and PLCs is beneficial.

• Background in consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics manufacturing is a plus.
