Senior Director, Product Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the go-to-market strategy for all launches, ranging from significant platform introductions to smaller feature releases.

• Develop and implement a structured tiered launch framework.

• Oversee the entire launch process, which includes positioning, pricing contributions, enablement, campaigns, customer communications, and analyzing post-launch outcomes.

• Strategize launches aimed at both new prospects and current customers, focusing on adoption and growth initiatives.

• Tailor launches and messaging for the U.S. and European markets.

• Create positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored for various audiences and buyer personas.

• Expand the company narrative into product-level stories while ensuring brand consistency.

• Articulate the value of services and research partnerships alongside technology offerings.

• Develop customer stories, case studies, and content driven by research.

• Collaborate with product managers regarding roadmap input, launch preparedness, and product packaging.

• Work closely with sales, customer success, and research teams.

• Produce sales and customer success resources, such as pitch decks, battle cards, demo narratives, objection handling materials, and onboarding documentation.

• Conduct launch training and provide ongoing commercial enablement.

• Manage competitive intelligence for research platforms and data quality providers.

• Design and uphold a comprehensive training curriculum for sales and customer success teams.

• Establish a customer education program encompassing onboarding paths, live training sessions, webinars, and self-service learning materials.

• Integrate research best practices and data quality expertise into the training curriculum.

• Revise curricula following launches and assess impact through metrics like certifications, completion rates, seller ramp-up time, product adoption, and customer feedback.

• Set launch success metrics, which include pipeline development, win rates, adoption, and expansion.

• Analyze and report on launch outcomes, utilizing win/loss analysis, customer feedback, and market research to refine positioning and priorities.

• Report directly to the EVP of Marketing and contribute to the evolution of the product marketing function over time.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B marketing.

• At least 5 years of experience in product marketing within a SaaS or technology-driven services company.

• Proven track record of leading launches of various sizes and delivering business results.

• Ability to present complex technical and data-intensive products in a clear and persuasive manner to both executives and practitioners.

• Knowledge of marketing a combination of software and services.

• Experience in developing sales enablement and competitive programs.

• Capability to collaborate with product managers, sellers, and subject-matter experts without formal authority.

• Comfortable working in a player-coach capacity.

• Familiarity with marketing to buyers in both the U.S. and Europe, or a willingness to learn about the differences in messaging and buying behaviors.

• Highly organized and data-driven, with the capacity to manage multiple launches simultaneously.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• Preferred: experience in market research, consumer insights, survey or panel data, or expertise in data quality and fraud prevention.

• Preferred: experience in marketing a portfolio following an acquisition or merging several products into a single unified offering.

• Preferred: experience in building or scaling a product marketing function from the ground up.
