This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist buyers with assortment planning, purchasing strategies, purchase orders, and product introductions.
• Ensure precise product information is maintained throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Monitor products from initial planning stages through production, purchasing, receiving, and inventory availability.
• Evaluate sales, inventory, and product data to aid buying decisions.
• Organize seasonal assortments by style, color, size, and other characteristics.
• Keep track of product costs, MSRP, pricing, and other essential product information.
• Generate, update, and monitor purchase orders.
• Supervise production status and anticipated completion dates.
• Liaise with vendors regarding purchase orders, production schedules, quantities, product specifics, and any issues.
• Follow up on pending vendor requests and accurately record information.
• Detect potential delays, shortages, or discrepancies and escalate issues as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels to identify overstock, low inventory, and future inventory requirements.
• Track inventory from production through receipt and marketplace availability.
• Compare inventory, sales, and buying plans to identify gaps or opportunities.
• Maintain precise inventory and product records within internal systems.
• Reconcile data across systems to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with marketplace teams to prepare new products for launch.
• Assist with product setup and upkeep on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.
• Support listing updates, product launches, and assortment modifications.
• Identify and help resolve product-data inconsistencies across systems.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in merchandising, buying, assistant buying, product coordination, retail operations, or a related field.
• Experience working with product assortments and SKU-level data.
• Strong comprehension of the product lifecycle from buying to production, purchase order, inventory, and sale.
• Experience with buying plans and assortment strategies.
• Proficiency in managing purchase orders and vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with production tracking and product development processes.
• Knowledge of inventory management and replenishment strategies.
• Experience in working with apparel, fashion, footwear, accessories, or products with multiple styles, sizes, colors, and SKUs.
• Understanding of product costing, MSRP, pricing, and margin-related information.
• Experience in vendor communication and follow-up.
• Ability to manage extensive product data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central or other e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Comfortable communicating directly with vendors and internal teams.
• Capable of managing multiple products, purchase orders, deadlines, and priorities concurrently.
• Available to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
• Reliable, high-speed internet connection required.
• Dedicated PC or laptop with dual monitors (required equipment).
• Available for video calls and team communication during working hours.
• Ability to work independently and remain organized in a remote setting.
