Mental Health Therapist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide remote, evidence-based therapy to adult clients aged 18 and older.

• Utilize various modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI.

• Maintain a caseload ranging from 7 to 20 sessions weekly.

• Conduct ongoing therapy sessions and assessments for new clients.

• Attend manager check-ins: 1 hour weekly for the first 6 weeks, followed by 30 minutes monthly.

• Use data to inform treatment and modify approaches based on client progress.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and refer clients as necessary.

• Complete, sign, and secure documentation in the EMR within 48 hours following client interaction.

• Engage in recruiter and clinical interviews as part of the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be independently licensed in Michigan as an LMSW with Clinical designation, LMFT, LPC, or as a Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).

• Eager and motivated to obtain licensure in other states; Two Chairs will cover all associated costs.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience working with adults (18+).

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in teletherapy.

• Proficient in clinical assessments such as the PHQ-9.

• Familiarity with EHR systems is required.

• Availability for 8 to 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST.
