Mental Health Therapist, Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct mental health evaluations and provide teletherapy services to PreK-12 students and school personnel in partner school districts.

• Engage in case discussions with fellow members of the Cartwheel team.

• Assist students and their families in transitioning to community care providers.

• Foster collaborative relationships with school leadership, staff, students, and families.

• Hold regular meetings with school staff to address student mental health requirements and devise strategies to enhance school services.

• If qualified and interested, offer clinical supervision to other members of the care team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Part-time W-2 position available for MA licensed associates and residents of Massachusetts.

• Must possess an active license in Massachusetts for mental health care delivery (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD/PsyD).

• Experience in CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing is essential.

• Minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services to children and youth through telehealth.

• Proficient in utilizing Zoom, GSuite (Google Calendar, Gmail, etc.), electronic health record systems, and other collaboration platforms.

• Must have access to reliable, high-speed internet (50 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload).

• Availability to offer hours during and especially after school (e.g., 3-8 pm local time, Saturdays).

• Capability to deliver effective and safe care to both children and adults, including managing crisis situations in a virtual setting.

• Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese is a plus (extra credit).

• Experience in providing parent guidance is a bonus (extra credit).

• Qualified to deliver clinical supervision in Massachusetts (extra credit).

• An active NPI number is preferred (extra credit).

• CAQH credentialing setup is advantageous (extra credit).

• Must provide appropriate documentation to confirm identity and work authorization.
