Mental Health Therapist, Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct mental health evaluations and provide teletherapy services to Pre K-12 students and school personnel in partnering school districts.

• Offer care that generally lasts between 2-4 months per student, with the possibility of extensions based on clinical requirements and clinician assessment.

• Engage in case discussions alongside Cartwheel team members.

• Assist students and families in transitioning to community care providers.

• Establish collaborative relationships with school leadership, staff, students, and their families.

• Hold regular meetings with school staff to address student mental health concerns and create strategies to enhance school services.

• Provide clinical supervision to other team members if qualified and interested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active mental health care license in Nevada to practice independently (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC).

• Minimum of two years of experience offering mental health services to children and youth through telehealth.

• Proficiency in CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing.

• Consistent high-speed internet connection (50 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload).

• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork capabilities.

• Availability to provide services during and particularly after school hours, such as 3-8 pm Eastern/Central/Mountain/Pacific time and on Saturdays.

• Competence in delivering effective and safe care to both children and adults, including managing crisis situations virtually.

• Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese is considered a plus.

• Experience in providing parent guidance is favorable.

• Qualification to offer clinical supervision in Nevada is an advantage.

• Active NPI number is an additional benefit.

• CAQH credentialing setup is a bonus.

• Must provide acceptable documentation to confirm identity and work authorization.
