Mendix Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Mendix applications utilizing Studio Pro, domain models, microflows, nanoflows, pages, widgets, security models, workflows, and data integrations.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Engage in architecture and design reviews, recommending best practices for the Mendix platform.

• Create integrations with external systems, databases, enterprise platforms, and third-party services using REST, SOAP, OData, JSON/XML payloads, and external authentication providers.

• Tailor user interfaces and user experiences using Atlas UI, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript/TypeScript widgets, and components from the Mendix Marketplace.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, Git-based version control, Azure DevOps practices, code reviews, testing, and performance evaluations.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues.

• Assist in incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Aid with platform upgrades.

• Ensure adherence to security and governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical Mendix development experience, with strong expertise in Mendix Studio Pro.

• Experience in developing enterprise applications using Mendix versions 8.x, 9.x, and/or 10.x.

• Comprehensive understanding of Mendix domain models, entities, associations, microflows, nanoflows, XPath, workflows, security frameworks, Marketplace components, and deployment concepts.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, OData, JSON, XML, and relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

• Capability to extend Mendix functionality through custom Java actions, JavaScript, TypeScript, or bespoke widgets.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Mendix deployment tools, ServiceNow, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting, effectively manage priorities, and lead technical initiatives.

• Mendix Intermediate Developer certification is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 3 years of hands-on Mendix development experience is essential.

• Proven record of delivering multiple enterprise applications from conception through to production support.

• Advanced or Expert Mendix certification is preferred.

• More than 5 years of overall software development experience is preferred.

• Experience with enterprise-scale Mendix applications, cloud deployments, containerized architectures, and business processes related to manufacturing, supply chain, CPQ, CRM, or ERP is preferred.
