Member Relationship Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Generate business by making outbound calls using call lists to meet sales targets.

• Engage with current and prospective members through telephone and email, offering suitable solutions.

• Educate members about product offerings and services to enhance their financial health.

• Clarify pricing and address inquiries, fostering value in member relationships.

• Monitor daily phone calls and track sales totals/production.

• Follow up with members and potential members via phone or email after initial contact.

• Address member requests, including calculating terms for loans and CDs.

• Complete ongoing product training and compliance education.

• Maintain precise daily records of member interactions in the CRM.

• Treat colleagues and members with respect.

• Engage in and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Represent the Credit Union positively and professionally.

• Safeguard member and sensitive information with confidentiality.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Cross-sell Credit Union products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, insurance, first mortgages, and Autoland.

• Support Credit Union depository and lending products alongside overall service and sales objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience with Nuvision and/or previous loan experience demonstrating a successful sales record.

• Proven capability to generate business through outbound calling efforts.

• Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, compliance standards, and Credit Union procedures.

• Comprehensive understanding of deposit, loan, and ancillary products/services.

• Basic knowledge of relevant lending regulations.

• Exceptional communication and phone skills, including professional verbal communication and etiquette.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with members, staff, and management.

• Ability to listen, identify needs, and provide solutions to member inquiries.

• Proficient computer skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and following through on member requests.

• NMLS Registered.

• Successful completion of all compliance-related coursework.
