Member of Technical Staff – YC Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and implementation of essential platform capabilities.

• Manage intricate technical projects from initial concept to production.

• Create scalable distributed systems and services.

• Detect and address architectural, reliability, and performance issues.

• Set engineering patterns and technical standards.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.

• Guide engineers and provide technical mentorship.

• Shape long-term platform architecture and technology strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering.

• Background with YC or venture-backed startups.

• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and system architecture.

• High proficiency in at least one major programming language.

• Experience in operating systems at a significant scale.

• Excellent technical leadership and communication abilities.

• Capability to influence teams without direct authority.

• AI/ML infrastructure experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud, GPUs, or distributed computing is beneficial.

• Experience in a rapidly growing technology company is advantageous.

• Knowledge of designing highly available platforms is a plus.

• Fluent English is required.

• Must possess appropriate work authorization for the United States or require employer sponsorship consideration.
