Member Care Advocate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to inquiries regarding the Wellth Rewards program and provide assistance with technical or application-related issues.

• Aid in healthcare access tasks, such as locating a medical provider, scheduling appointments, or organizing follow-up care.

• Assist members in utilizing tools and services offered through their health plan, which may include BP cuffs, prescription delivery, and transportation.

• Act as an advocate for members by helping them comprehend and access their available benefits and resources.

• Re-engage members who may be having difficulties with app check-ins or adherence to their health plans.

• Communicate with members through phone, text, and email, demonstrating empathy and clarity.

• Elevate complex or unique issues through the appropriate channels.

• Continuously assess and provide feedback on strategies to optimally support members and enhance impact.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.

• Empathetic, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.

• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills with the capability to problem-solve and navigate various tools.

• Highly skilled in using technology and quickly adapting to new systems.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

• Previous experience in customer service or healthcare navigation.

• Familiarity with health insurance or care coordination through prior work experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience working with diverse or underserved communities (preferred).

• Availability for designated shifts providing coverage between 8:00 AM PST and 4:00 PM EST.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and using a computer.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
