This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Install hardware for automated medication dispensing systems at healthcare facilities across the United States.
• Organize, test, and assemble automated medication dispensing systems.
• Review schematics, drawings, documentation, and logistics to facilitate installation tasks.
• Execute pre-assembly, construction, and installation of conveyors, automated dispensers, and related equipment.
• Install pneumatic devices, RFID readers, and sensors throughout conveyor systems.
• Commission electronic and electrical systems while installing structured cabling.
• Perform routine checks and document data from product tests post-installation and configuration.
• Ensure that all work complies with quality standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with support staff, managing project timelines and addressing customer needs.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally to client sites.
• Secondary Education Diploma or equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in electronics, hardware, software, or mechanical fields is required.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish/Portuguese is essential.
• Strong professional business acumen and communication skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with basic software applications and Microsoft operating systems is required.
• Ability to collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and healthcare personnel to determine equipment layout, operations, and workflow.
• Competence in using hand and power tools, reading schematics, and assembling components is required.
• Must meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including verification of vaccination status.
• Position may require up-to-date immunizations.
• Capability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds is required.
• An active and unrestricted driver’s license is necessary.
• Possession of a personal vehicle and willingness to use it for job-related tasks is required.
• Must be able to travel locally, regionally, and nationally on a weekly basis to meet customer needs.
• Must be located within 30 miles of a major airport.
• Military veterans with experience in electronics-related MOS are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently in customer environments with minimal supervision is required.
• Paid training will be provided for this role.
• Travel and travel time will be compensated.
• Mileage will be reimbursed.
• This is a per-diem, assignment-based position.
