This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct outbound calls to patients and healthcare professionals concerning medications, adherence, and the resolution of barriers.
• Evaluate, investigate, and resolve obstacles to prescription regimen adherence.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, providers, clinical pharmacists, and the pharmacy department.
• Support patients with medication refills, synchronization, and requests for 90-day supplies.
• Document medication adherence prescription requests and requirements.
• Oversee prescription transmission, processing, insurance adjudication, error resolution, packaging, and preparation for dispensing.
• Adhere to medication adherence workflows for patient enrollment and medication regimen delivery.
• Ensure tasks related to prescription processing are accurate and verified prior to dispensing.
• Achieve outreach targets set by leadership through telephone, email, and mail communications.
• Offer feedback and solutions to enhance the medication adherence experience for patients and clients.
• Assist in training clinical staff involved in Part D HEDIS measures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional experience beyond the minimum may be considered in place of the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or Medication Assistant with at least 6 months of relevant work experience, or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medication dispensing/pharmacy environment or call center.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of standard medication adherence practices, protocols, techniques, functions, and processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, telephone communication, written, verbal, listening, and pharmaceutical calculation abilities.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service orientation with patience, calmness, and empathy in challenging situations.
• Capacity to actively listen, comprehend patient inquiries, and provide accurate responses or solutions.
• Ability to make informed decisions and follow up on problematic situations.
• Capability to handle sensitive and confidential patient, departmental, or company information with discretion.
• Proficiency in interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as database and presentation software.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally, regionally, divisionally, or domestically up to 10% of the time.
