Medical VA Patient Scheduler, Spanish Bilingual – eClinicalWorks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage daily patient call lists, including referrals, patients due for screenings, follow-up visits, and those with abnormal lab results, ensuring appointments are booked in advance.

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to patients in both English and Spanish.

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using eClinicalWorks (eCW).

• Contact patients the day prior to their appointments to confirm attendance and minimize no-show rates.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records within the EMR system.

• Notify the clinic team of any gaps in doctors' schedules.

• Address challenging, frustrated, or rude callers with composure and professionalism.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) is a must; this is non-negotiable.

• Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required; this is non-negotiable.

• Prior experience as a medical virtual assistant, medical receptionist, or patient scheduler in a U.S. practice.

• Experience in outbound calling or appointment setting is preferred.

• Possess a thick skin; able to remain calm, courteous, and persistent with patients who may hang up or be rude.

• Dependable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic.

• Self-motivated and capable of working through call lists independently.

• Familiarity with U.S. medical terminology; a nursing or healthcare background is a significant advantage.

• Must have a stable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a quality headset.

• Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time (EST) hours and be prepared to start immediately.
