Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage with cardiologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals and stakeholders through scientific education and exchange.

• Provide education to healthcare professionals on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.

• Synthesize and convey clinical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders.

• Attend and deliver presentations at scientific congresses and meetings.

• Address unsolicited inquiries in accordance with MSL compliance standards.

• Support company-sponsored clinical trials through engagement with investigator sites.

• Assist in speaker training and scientific congress activities, such as opinion-leader engagement, session coverage, booth support, and debriefs.

• Monitor and analyze scientific publications, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape in cardiometabolic therapeutics.

• Maintain expertise in clinical, scientific, and industry business matters.

• Develop territory-specific plans for opinion-leaders and accounts.

• Accurately and clearly communicate clinical and scientific information.

• Document both quantitative and qualitative accomplishments.

• Provide scientific support for Medical Information inquiries.

• Create scientific content for medical education initiatives.

• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships.

• Support Medical Affairs special projects and initiatives as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO is required.

• A minimum of five years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).

• Experience in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.

• Medical Affairs industry experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with electronic CRM systems.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel.

• Valid authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
