Medical Information Specialist, Level II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual or telephonic assistance to designated clients, customers, patients, and healthcare professionals through in-depth clinical conversations.

• Share information regarding pharmaceutical products and medical devices.

• Record Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events, and Product Quality Complaints in accordance with company, client, and federal regulations.

• Conduct compliance calls for volunteers participating in clinical or medical research studies.

• Facilitate the enrollment of participants in educational seminars.

• Offer patient support to individuals enrolled in Patient Support Programs.

• Gather demographic information and manage disposition for product, sample, and literature distribution.

• Uphold quality and productivity benchmarks; follow program scripts and guidelines closely.

• Collect program-related information and input it into designated databases.

• Demonstrate effective communication and tele-management abilities.

• Engage empathetically with callers and clarify medical terminology as needed.

• Execute administrative and non-telecommunication responsibilities as required.

• Comply with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Update and submit resume upon request during audits.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active US healthcare professional license: RN.

• Outstanding verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

• Proficiency in using a computer keyboard and mouse.

• Capability to participate in frequent meetings and calls without interruptions or disconnections.

• Familiarity with Call Center Telephone Technology.

• Friendly telephone demeanor.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Results-driven with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work across various functions.

• A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.

• Must ensure patient privacy and confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
